Have Your Cake And Profits, Too
StockMarketStore.com

You will spend a lot of time sitting in front of a computer even while managing your investments.  I thought it only fair to help you out in the kitchen!  Exercise and nutrition are very important and very neglected by traders. I will share here some of the recipes that are not only healthy, but can be prepared in and around stock market trading hours. Like most traders, I am on the computer all day. I do my meal preparation in-between  trades. We have to eat, right? And if you are the meal preparer, like any other job, at 5:00 family still wants to eat.

The good news is that money grows faster than fat. Calories don't have the benefit of compound annual growth. So, "Mangiamo!"

One of the first lessons is learning how to buy stocks. What? You might ask. Well,  if you make a good entry  when you buy a stock, you can then leave the computer terminal and stretch a little, or  prepare a delicious meal. If you make a poor entry, you will be tied to the computer and forced to gobble cookies and chocolate while you stare at the price movement.  Virtually all stock recipes instruct you to start with the bones.  I  will also begin there. The bones are your charts and analysis tools.   Start there, make a good entry, and meet me in the kitchen.

Josephine’s Super Coffee Cake

First blend 1 1/2 cups sugar

2 sticks of butter

then add:

3 eggs

1 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder

1 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda

1/2/ teaspoon of salt

1 teaspoon of vanilla

3 cups flour

one pint of sour cream

Beat smooth

Make a streusel (filling) of cinnamon and sugar, walnuts and chocolate chips

Then pour 1/2 the batter into a Bundt pan, then filling, then the rest of the batter and then the streusel on top.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 60 minutes. Every oven is a little different so do test for doneness with a steak knife inserted and when it comes out clean. (I have a very hot gas oven and the cake is done in 50 minutes.) Let it cool before turning it out.

This coffee cake tastes as good as it looks. Frosting is optional.

Frosting:

2 sticks of butter (room temperature)

1 box of confectioner’s sugar

Beat til fluffy.
